Marisa Orbea

Marisa Orbea is a Partner and the Independence & Conflicts Leader at Deloitte Australia, where they have been instrumental since 2004 in developing independence quality control guidance for member firms globally. They served as a Board Member for the International Ethics Standards Board for Accountants from 2010 to 2015, contributing to the establishment of ethical standards for professional accountants worldwide. Marisa has also held leadership roles in managing national independence and conflicts management teams at Deloitte Australia. They are currently enrolled in the Company Directors Course at the Australian Institute of Company Directors, while also pursuing a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Sydney.
