Shan Hofer

Shan Hofer is a Partner in the Global Employer Services (GES) tax practice at Deloitte, where they specialize in cross-border tax services, including tax planning and compliance for Canadian and U.S. personal taxes, as well as international assignment program management. With over 19 years of experience in expatriate tax and related fields, Shan previously held various roles at Deloitte Canada, culminating as Senior Manager in the GES tax group. Shan is a Chartered Professional Accountant of BC and a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Illinois. Currently, they are furthering their education through CICA Indepth Tax Level I & II, while also holding a Bachelor of Arts from The University of British Columbia and a Diploma in Accounting from UBC Sauder School of Business.
