Steven Foster

Steven Foster is a seasoned professional in the insurance regulatory consulting field, currently serving as a Director at Deloitte & Touche since September 1997. Prior to this role, Steven held the position of Vice President of Corporate Compliance at Prudential Financial from May 1996 to September 1997. Steven's extensive experience includes a notable tenure as Virginia Insurance Commissioner from 1987 to 1996, during which time Steven also served as President of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners in 1993. Earlier in his career, Steven was the County Administrator for Spotsylvania County from January 1979 to January 1987, overseeing county operations. Steven holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Virginia, obtained between 1971 and 1977.
