Tej Pavoor is a seasoned professional in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors, currently serving as a Partner at Delos Capital since March 2024. Prior experience includes roles as an Operating Partner at Flagship Pioneering and Chief Operating Officer at Laronde in 2023. From January 2014 to March 2024, Tej held multiple senior leadership positions at Moderna, including Senior Vice President of the Investigational Medicines Office and Head of Strategic Operations. Earlier career experiences encompass an Engagement Manager position at McKinsey & Company and Senior Research Engineer at Merck, focusing on glyco-engineered biologics. Tej holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from the University of Mumbai. Additionally, Tej has contributed to the scientific community through publications, including a study on Pichia pastoris strains in the Journal of Immunological Methods.
