Jose Maria Macedo

Jose Maria Macedo is the Head of Delphi Labs at Delphi Digital. Prior to joining Delphi Digital, Jose Maria was a Founding Partner at 01 Capital from July 2019 to August 2020. At 01 Capital, Jose Maria leveraged their deep understanding of digital assets gained over AmaZix's 130 projects and combined it with their deep experience in traditional financial markets to provide advice and guidance to clients pursuing all regulated advisory and corporate finance activities.

Jose Maria has a wealth of experience in both the traditional financial markets and the digital asset space. Jose began their career working at Lazard, Goldman Sachs, HSBC and KPMG before moving into venture capital and technology. Their move into the digital asset space came when they joined AmaZix Global as a founding partner of 01 Capital. As a founding partner, Jose Maria helped build 01 Capital into the premier corporate finance and advisory brand in the digital asset space.

Jose Maria's experience and knowledge have made him a valuable asset to Delphi Digital. As Head of Delphi Labs, they are responsible for leading the research and development of new products and services that will help Delphi Digital maintain its position as a leading provider of digital asset research, data, and analysis.

Jose Maria Macedo studied Politics, Philosophy and Economics at Lancaster University, where they achieved a first-class honours degree (equivalent to Magna Cum Laude in the US). Jose also attended St Julian's School, where they completed both the International Baccalaureate and the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE).

Their manager is Yan Liberman, Managing Partner. They work with Luke Saunders - CTO, Delphi Labs, Drew Henderson - Director, Fund Operations, and Anil Lulla - Chief Operating Officer.
