Cuiping Li

Cuiping Li has a diverse work experience in the field of medical imaging. Cuiping currently serves as the Director of Clinical Engineering at Delphinus Medical Technologies, where they lead a team in refining and developing radiologist workstations for improved breast mass detection and characterization. Cuiping collaborates closely with various departments, including Clinical, Operations, Marketing, IT, and Sales, to deploy and integrate the workstations into the clinical environment.

Prior to this role, Cuiping Li held various positions at Delphinus Medical Technologies, including Director of Research, where they provided leadership in the development, implementation, and verification of tomographic algorithms. Cuiping also managed and implemented the entire research and development cycle for projects, mentored junior scientists, and contributed to algorithm realization, testing, and documentation.

Cuiping Li also served as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Department of Oncology, Wayne State University, where they mentored young scientists and wrote grant applications for funding creative project ideas in the field of medical imaging.

Earlier in their career, Cuiping Li was a Research Fellow at the Karmanos Cancer Institute, where they developed a new bent-ray tomography algorithm for a breast ultrasound scanner. Cuiping also conducted research on ultrasound signals and processing, and actively wrote grant applications to seek funding for innovative research ideas.

Additionally, Cuiping Li worked as a Research Associate at the University of Arizona, where they gained valuable experience in research.

Throughout their career, Cuiping Li has demonstrated a strong passion for advancing medical imaging and a proven ability to lead teams, develop innovative algorithms, mentor junior scientists, and secure funding through grant applications.

Cuiping Li has a Ph.D. in Geophysics from Purdue University and a Master's degree in Computer Science from the same institution. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications including Python Essential Training from LinkedIn in September 2019, Neural Networks and Deep Learning from Coursera Course Certificates in September 2018, and a Machine learning course certificate from Stanford University Online Course in August 2018.
