Cuiping also conducted research on ultrasound signals and processing, and actively wrote grant applications to seek funding for innovative research ideas.

Additionally, Cuiping Li worked as a Research Associate at the University of Arizona, where they gained valuable experience in research.

Throughout their career, Cuiping Li has demonstrated a strong passion for advancing medical imaging and a proven ability to lead teams, develop innovative algorithms, mentor junior scientists, and secure funding through grant applications.

Cuiping Li has a Ph.D. in Geophysics from Purdue University and a Master's degree in Computer Science from the same institution.
