Melissa Griffiths Beng Msc Mraes

Melissa (Mel) Griffiths BEng(Hons) MSc MRAeS currently serves as the Manager of Propulsion Engineering at Delta Air Lines, overseeing a diverse team responsible for the technical management of various aircraft propulsion systems, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations, and enhancing safety and reliability. Prior to this role, Melissa held several engineering positions at Rolls-Royce, where responsibilities included leading engineering teams for life cycle support and root cause analysis in defense aerospace projects. With extensive experience in aircraft engineering and systems management, Melissa began their career with the Royal Navy, where notable roles included Project Manager for aircraft modifications and Operations Manager for engineering support during critical military operations. Educational achievements include a Master’s degree in Forensic Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
