David Thomson

David Thomson, CAPM, has extensive work experience in the gaming and lottery industry. David began their career at the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation, where they held various roles in slot operations management and technical supervision from 2003 to 2012. Thomson then joined Diamond Game Enterprises, where they served as the Senior Director of Ontario Operations, North American Operations, and Field Operations Canada, focusing on manufacturing operations, support strategy, and profit and loss management. In 2018, they became the Director of Technical Services at R2 Gaming, overseeing organizational restructuring and growth. Currently, Thomson holds the position of Director of Technical and IT Product Management at Delta Bingo & Gaming.

David Thomson, CAPM, has a diverse education history that spans various fields and institutions. In terms of formal education, they obtained a Diploma in Electronic Engineering from ICS Learn. Additionally, they pursued studies in Electro-Mechanical Engineering at Farnborough College of Technology.

David has also pursued several certifications and courses to enhance their professional skills and knowledge. In 2020, they obtained the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification from the Project Management Institute. David also completed courses in Leadership and Management, Process Improvement, and Project Management through LinkedIn Learning.
