Delta Biofuel, LLC
Delta Biofuel is a renewable energy company transforming waste that typically is discarded and landfilled into valuable energy. This waste is called, bagasse, and it comes from the processing of sugar cane into unrefined sugar. We collect bagasse from neighboring sugar mills, process it through our facility into biomass pellets, and ship the biomass pellets to our customers. Our business reduces greenhouse gases, creates a new renewable energy source, and is dedicated to the betterment of the Southwestern region of Louisiana.
