Lisa Nichols has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Lisa started their career at HSN in 1987 as a Settlement and Collections Manager, where they managed debit/credit card settlement and check fraud prevention. Lisa then worked as a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager at Checkers Drive In Restaurants from 1996 to 1999.
In 1999, Lisa joined PwC as a Sr. Experienced Budget Analyst, responsible for the composition and distribution of the Budget Provisions Document for the entire US territory. Lisa later moved to Cox Communications in 2001, where they worked as a Senior Financial Analyst specializing in Customer Care and Field Operations until 2004.
Lisa briefly worked at Comcast Cable as a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager for the Fresno cluster in 2004 before returning to Cox Communications. At Cox Communications, they held the roles of Director/Manager Credit, Collections, and Field Disconnect from 2005 to 2008. Lisa then joined Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona as a Sr. Financial Analyst in Financial Planning and Analysis, handling budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial modeling for the Arizona plan until 2016.
Currently, Lisa works at Delta Dental of Virginia as the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis. Lisa'smain responsibilities include building and refining the Financial Planning and Analysis function, directing the annual planning process, developing financial budgets, and providing analytical and reporting tools to the enterprise.
Lisa Nichols attended Radford University from 1980 to 1984, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing/Finance. In addition to their degree, Lisa has obtained several certifications throughout their career. In February 2022, they became a Certified Kaizen Facilitator (CKF) from the Management & Strategy Institute. In December 2022, Lisa completed the DEIB Council program at Delta Dental of Virginia. Furthermore, in April 2023, they completed the Leading Mindfully Program at UVA Darden Executive Education & Lifelong Learning.
