Garrett Whitney

Garrett Whitney currently serves as an Innovation Advisory Council Member at Vation Ventures since November 2019 and as Chief Information Officer at Delta Dental of Washington since January 2007. In the Chief Information Officer role, Garrett focuses on leveraging technology to enhance mission delivery and customer value, emphasizing data-driven decision-making and cybersecurity. Previous positions at Delta Dental include Senior Director of IT, Chief Information Security Officer, Director of IT Architecture and Infrastructure, Infrastructure and Security Architect, and IT Infrastructure Manager. Prior experience includes roles at Washington Dental Service, GoAhead Software, Harding Lawson Associates, and service in the US Navy as an Electronic Warfare Technician. Garrett holds a Graduate Certificate in Executive Leadership and a Certificate in Leading With Dignity from Seattle University.
