Samantha Quinn, CPA, CFE, MBA has a strong and diverse work experience. Samantha began their career at McGladrey & Pullen, LLP as an Assurance Manager, where they provided audit, accounting, and consulting services to clients in various industries. Samantha also played an active role in the development of accounting staff and campus recruiting.
Following their time at McGladrey & Pullen, LLP, Samantha joined UL LLC as an M&A, Due Diligence, and Technical Accounting Manager. In this role, they focused on due diligence for acquisition targets, including analyzing accounting policies, reviewing financial statements, and assisting with valuation modeling.
Currently, Samantha is working at Delta Dental Plans Association, where they have held multiple positions. Samantha started as a Controller and later became the Vice President of Finance & Accounting. Samantha is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer.
Samantha Quinn, CPA, CFE, MBA, obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accountancy from Northern Illinois University in the years 1997-2001. Samantha later pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a concentration in Leadership from the same university, completing it in 2020. Samantha has additional certifications, including a Girl Scout Gold Award obtained in January 2019 from the Girl Scouts of the USA, and a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) designation received in September 2018 from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE). While they possess the necessary requirements to become a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Chartered Global Management Accountant, the dates of when they obtained these certifications are currently unknown.
