Phong Tran

Vice President - Asset Monetization at Delta Material Services

Phong Tran has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Phong began their career at TCF Bank in 2006, working in consumer lending. In 2007, they transitioned to Northwest Airlines as an Operations Analytics professional. In 2009, Phong joined Delta Air Lines where they held various roles, including Program Manager for ACS Baggage Performance and Program Manager for Supply Chain Management. In 2014, they became Sr. Manager for Aircraft and Engine Surplus at Delta Air Lines. In 2016, Phong became a founding member of Delta Material Services (DMS) and served as an Architect, implementing and managing aircraft dismantlement for cost savings optimization. Phong was also responsible for aircraft storage, financial valuation, and consignment program management. In 2021, they took on the role of Vice President - Asset Monetization at DMS.

Phong Tran holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Actuarial Science from the University of St. Thomas - Opus College of Business. Additionally, Phong Tran has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Emory University - Goizueta Business School.
