Ahmad El Sayed is a Software Engineer currently employed at Deltares since January 2023, with prior experience at Cruden B.V. and AVL, where Ahmad developed distributed applications and multi-physical system-level models for vehicle dynamics simulation, respectively. Ahmad has an extensive research background, having served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at IFP Energies nouvelles and the Centre national de la recherche scientifique, focusing on soot formation and numerical modeling. Additionally, Ahmad worked as a Research Associate and Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Waterloo, contributing to projects involving combustion modeling and emissions reduction. Ahmad holds a PhD and a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo, as well as a Bachelor's degree from the American University of Beirut, where Ahmad also pursued a minor in Mathematics.
