Annegien Tijssen

Annegien Tijssen is a Senior Disaster Risk Management and Climate Adaptation Specialist at Deltares. Annegien previously worked as a Disaster Risk Management Specialist at The World Bank and as a Researcher/Consultant in Water Risk Analysis at Deltares. Before transitioning into disaster risk management, Annegien taught Mathematics at St Ludgercollege and Candea College. Annegien holds a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Twente and a teaching degree in Education and Teaching with a focus on Mathematics from Radboud University.
