Aris Nivorlis

Researcher/advisor Geophysicist at Deltares

Aris Nivorlis is a seasoned geophysicist currently serving as a Researcher/Advisor at Deltares since July 2023. Prior to this role, Aris completed a Doctor of Philosophy degree at Lund University's Faculty of Engineering from April 2017 to June 2023. Aris also gained valuable professional experience as a Doctoral Student at Lund and worked as a geophysicist at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) from January 2014 to March 2017, where responsibilities included geophysical data acquisition, processing, and interpretation, alongside developing automation schemes using MATLAB. Additional experience includes a summer internship at the Institute of Geology and Mineral Exploration (IGME) in 2014, focusing on the processing of Transient ElectroMagnetic (TEM) data. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Geological/Geophysical Engineering from AUTH and a Bachelor's degree in Geology/Earth Science from AUTH.
