Erik de Rooij

Erik de Rooij is a seasoned software engineer with over 23 years of experience in the technology and research sectors. Currently serving as a project leader for the MyDeltares web environment at Deltares, an independent institute focused on applied research in water and subsurface, Erik has a strong background that includes a role as a part-time firefighter at Gemeente Delft and earlier experience as a software developer at Capgemini. Erik holds a Master's degree in Geography from Utrecht University and has pursued further education in fire safety and technology at nbbe and Technische Universiteit Delft.
