Joachim Rozemeijer

Advisor Water Quality / Hydrology at Deltares

Joachim Rozemeijer is an experienced Advisor in water quality and hydrology at Deltares since 2010, specializing in catchment hydrology, monitoring, solute transport, and dynamics in water quality, with significant focus on nutrients, heavy metals, and groundwater-surface water interaction. Prior to this role, Joachim was a PhD candidate at Utrecht University and Deltares from 2006 to 2010, where research centered on the dynamics of groundwater and surface water quality. Joachim also served as a Physical Geographic Hydrologist at TNO from 2002 to 2006, working on projects related to the interaction between groundwater, soil, and surface water, as well as the transport of water and solutes through stream catchments. Joachim holds a degree in Physical Geography from Utrecht University, obtained between 1997 and 2001.
