Michelle Jeuken

Michelle Jeuken is a highly experienced scientific software engineer specializing in Fortran, currently employed at Deltares since January 2013, focusing on software for modeling water and water quality, including notable projects like Delwaq, Bloom, and Part, as well as the integration of processes in Delft3D Flexible Mesh. Prior to this role, Michelle worked at Planbureau voor de Leefomgeving from March 2007 to December 2012, where expertise was applied in biodiversity modeling, specifically the GLOBIO global biodiversity model. Earlier experience includes water quality modeling at Wageningen University from July 2002 to March 2007, developing NUSWALite and SWQN models, and at RIVM from January 1997 to July 2002, contributing to the PCLake and PCDitch surface water quality models. Academic credentials include a degree in Environmental Sciences from Wageningen University & Research and a VWO diploma from Dukenburg College.
