Remon Pot has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Remon currently serves as the Head of Department Safe and Resilient Infrastructure at Deltares, where they lead a team of researchers, consultants, and data scientists in translating subsurface effects to the safety and resilience of critical infrastructure. Prior to this, Remon worked at Fugro as the Global Product Owner Digital Platforms, leading the digital transition in Fugro's land division and delivering subsurface data and insights through digital solutions. Remon also served as an R&D Manager and Strategic Consultant, developing the GeoRiskPortal decision support system. Remon's earlier experience includes roles as an Engineering Consultant, Researcher in Hydraulic Engineering, and an Internship as an assistant section engineer and estimator.

Remon Pot completed their Bachelor of Business Engineering in Civil Engineering from Hogeschool Alkmaar from 2003 to 2007. Following this, they pursued their Master of Science in Hydraulic Engineering and Coastal Engineering at Delft University of Technology, graduating in 2011. In the same year, they also studied International Relations (UNMD-track) at Radboud University, although no degree information was provided for this program.
