Head Of Department Subsurface And Groundwater Quality at Deltares

Sophie Moinier is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in subsurface and groundwater quality. Since October 2013, Sophie has served as the Head of Department at Deltares, following a role as a researcher and consultant. Previous experience includes serving in the Supervisory Committee of the Erasmus Student Network from August 2011 to August 2015, where Sophie held the positions of President and Secretary, and working at Dille & Kamille as a full-time board year Secretary while also serving as a salesperson from June 2007 to October 2013. Sophie contributed to a research project at Universiteit Utrecht focusing on seed dispersal and vegetation development near a restored lowland stream from December 2010 to August 2012. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Environmental Biology/Ecology & Natural Resources Management and a Bachelor of Science in Biology, both obtained from the University of Utrecht, along with an Atheneum diploma from Ashram College.
