Hugh S. Beau Cummins III

Mr. Cummins is the retired Vice Chair and Chief Operating Officer at Truist Bank, where he oversaw enterprise payments, operational services, transformation, performance acceleration, strategy, corporate development and Truist Ventures, as well as enterprise governance and controls. Prior to this position, he served as head of Truist’s wholesale group from 2021 until 2023, and as head of Truist’s corporate and institutional group from 2019 to 2021. Prior to 2019, Mr. Cummins also served as co-chief operating officer and wholesale segment executive of Sun Trust Bank. Mr. Cummins currently serves on the board of directors of Atrium Health Foundation, and previously served on the board of Truist Insurance Holdings, Miami University’s Farmer School of Business Advisory Council, and Vanderbilt’s Owen School of Business Board of Visitors. Cummins earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and an MBA from the University of Michigan.
