Principal Geotechnical Engineer

Charles Hunt is a Principal Geotechnical Engineer at Delve Underground, specializing in rock engineering for tunnel and heavy civil applications. They accumulated extensive international experience working on large infrastructure projects across three continents, including six years in Asia and four years in England. Charles previously held the position of Manager and Principal Rock Geotechnical Engineer at Tetra Tech Canada, where they led a team of engineers and managed numerous projects, including the assessment of rock slopes in several Canadian national parks. They earned a Master of Science in Applied Geotechnics from Camborne School of Mines in 2003, preceded by a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Geology from the same institution. Outside of work, Charles enjoys mountain biking and hiking.
