Darlene Brown

Darlene Brown has extensive experience in finance and accounting, with a focus on management roles. Darlene began their career at Laventhol & Horwath/Horwath & Horwath, where they worked as a Staff-Senior, conducting audits, reviews, and compilations for private clients. Darlene then moved on to Hillhaven Corporation as an Internal Auditor and Northwest Mental Health Services as a Controller. In 1996, Darlene joined Parametrix as Vice President & CFO, a role they held for 16 years. Darlene later worked as the Corporate Controller & Outside Consultant at David Evans and Associates, Inc. before becoming the Director of Finance at McKinstry. Currently, they are the Chief Financial Officer at Delve Underground. Darlene also served as an Internal Trustee for The ESOP Association and was a member of the Interdisciplinary Advisory Committee on Fiduciary Issues.

Darlene Brown received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Business from the University of Washington - Michael G. Foster School of Business, which they attended from 1984 to 1986. Prior to that, they obtained their Associate of Arts degree in Business from Cottey College, attending from 1982 to 1984. In addition, they hold certifications as a Certified Public Accountant from the Washington State Board of Accountancy and as a Graduate of the Senior Executive Institute from ACEC.
