Doug Grimes

Doug Grimes has a diverse work experience in the engineering and project management field. Doug worked at Delve Underground from 2015 to the present, starting as a Lead Associate and progressing to Senior Associate and then Principal. Their responsibilities there include project management and regional management for Canada. Before that, they worked at Knight Piésold Ltd. from 2008 to 2015 as a Specialist Scientist/Project Manager/Associate. Prior to that, Doug worked at BC Hydro from 1994 to 2008, starting as a Senior Environmental Coordinator and later becoming a Project Manager and Division Manager. Doug began their career at Wardrop Engineering in 1987 as a Hydrogeologist.

Doug Grimes holds a Master's Degree in Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences from Queen's University, which they obtained from 1984 to 1987. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in the same field of study from the University of Manitoba between 1980 and 1984. In addition, they are certified as a Project Management Professional by the Project Management Institute, which they acquired in 2005. Doug also holds a P. Geo. certification from the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientist of BC, obtained in 1992.
