Loise Francisco-Anderson

Loise Francisco-Anderson has extensive work experience in the biopharmaceutical industry and academia. Loise currently holds the position of SVP and Head of Biology at DEM Biopharma, Inc. since June 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Evelo Biosciences, where they held the roles of VP Discovery, Innovation, and Oncology from December 2019 to June 2022, and Sr Director of Immuno-Oncology Research from May 2018 to December 2019. Before joining Evelo Biosciences, Loise worked at GSK as a Scientific Group Leader and Sr Principal Investigator in Immunology from 2015 to May 2018. Loise began their career in 2004 at Harvard Medical School, where they served as a Postdoctoral Fellow and Medical School Instructor in Immunology, Microbiology, and Pathology courses until May 2015.

Loise Francisco-Anderson has pursued their education in the field of immunology and medicine. Loise attended Harvard Medical School, where they focused their studies on immunology and PD-1 biology. Later, they enrolled at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, where they further delved into the fields of medicine, immuno-oncology, and immunology. At Johns Hopkins, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Immunology.
