Nenad Grmusa

Nenad Grmusa has over 20 years of work experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. Nenad is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at DEM Biopharma, Inc. as of September 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Takeda for 10 years in various roles, including SVP Head of R&D Strategy and External Innovation and CFO R&D. Nenad also held positions as SVP Head of Center for External Innovation, SVP Head of R&D Finance and Portfolio Management, and VP Head of R&D Finance and Portfolio Management. Before joining Takeda, Nenad worked at Millennium Pharmaceuticals, Inc. for 10 years, starting as a Financial Analyst and eventually progressing to the role of Senior Director in FP&A. Nenad began their career at Boston Biomedical Consultants as an Analyst and Senior Analyst.

Nenad Grmusa earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from West Virginia University between 1991 and 1995. Later, between 1997 and 1999, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in International Economics & Finance from Brandeis International Business School.
