Joshua Cason

Joshua Cason is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in natural language processing, data engineering, and software development. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Demandbase since February 2022, Joshua is involved in cutting-edge technologies including Scala, Kubernetes, and AWS Athena, while also focusing on data engineering and generative models. Previously, Joshua worked at IBM from August 2015 to February 2022 as a Cognitive Software Engineer, leading the development of three NLP patents and managing large-scale data transformations with Apache Spark. Prior roles include Systems Analyst at Knowledge Based Systems Inc, Software Developer at the University of Washington, and multiple internships at Amazon, where Joshua developed solutions for real-time traffic analysis and enhanced seller efficiencies. Joshua holds a Master of Science in Computational Linguistics from the University of Washington, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Linguistics and additional minors from the University of Kentucky, and a Bachelor of Arts in General Studies from Arkansas Tech University.
