Shahzad Malik has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several industries. Shahzad began their career in 1995 as the Founder and Software Engineer at Neural Storm Entertainment. In 1997, they worked as a Software Engineer at Cavedog Entertainment, followed by a role as a Software Engineer at Optiwave in 2000.

From 2001 to 2002, Shahzad worked as a Software Developer at the National Research Council, where they developed innovative real-time tracking systems and augmented reality software. In 2002, they joined AI Media as a Research Consultant, contributing to various research projects until 2005.

From 2006 to 2010, Shahzad served as the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer at Cognovision Solutions, Inc. During this time, they designed a video analytics system and developed advanced computer vision algorithms for object detection and tracking. In 2010, Cognovision Solutions was acquired by Intel, where Shahzad continued their career as a Senior Software Engineer until 2013.

From 2013 to 2018, Shahzad assumed the role of CTO and Director of Technology at Curacity, Changio, and TheRedPin. Shahzad played a key role in developing luxury hotel booking platforms and data attribution solutions, as well as building prototypes for social media products.

Most recently, in 2018, Shahzad joined DemandHub as their Chief Technology Officer, where they currently work.

Shahzad Malik has an extensive education history in the field of Computer Science. Shahzad began their academic journey in 1995 at Carleton University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Computer Science (BCS) degree. Shahzad successfully completed this program in the year 2000.

Motivated to further enhance their knowledge and skills, Shahzad then enrolled at Carleton University once again, this time to pursue a Master of Computer Science (MCS) degree. Shahzad embarked on this program in 2000 and completed it in 2002.

Continuing their commitment to academic excellence, Shahzad decided to pursue a PhD in Computer Science. Shahzad joined the renowned University of Toronto in 2002 and dedicated the next five years of their life to this program. Finally, in 2007, they successfully earned their PhD degree from the University of Toronto.

Throughout their education, Shahzad Malik has consistently focused on Computer Science as their field of study. Shahzad demonstrated their passion and dedication by pursuing higher levels of education in this domain, progressively specializing and expanding their knowledge in the subject.
