Emily Hoang

Emily Hoang has been working in the tech industry since 2004. Emily began their career at BAE Systems as a Software Engineer, where they designed and implemented a Windows based geographical image management application using .NET framework. Emily then moved to Tapestry Solutions as a Software Engineer, where they evaluated existing network systems based on released documents. In 2007, they joined General Dynamics Information Technology as a Senior Software Engineer, where they wrote software design documents for CDRLs. In 2011, they worked at Dealer.com as a Java Developer, maintaining and developing the backend infrastructure that supports all dealer.com websites. Later in 2011, they joined Gardener's Supply Company as a Web Developer, providing application development services and supporting the daily operation of web based applications. In 2017, they joined Lyons Consulting Group as a Senior Application Engineer, working with enterprise clients on their integration. In 2020, they worked at both Global-e and Terlato Wine Group, as an SFCC Developer and an SFCC Architect/Developer respectively. Currently, they are employed at PixelMEDIA and DemandPDX as a Technical Lead.

Emily Hoang obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science from UC San Diego between the years of 2001 and 2004. Emily also holds three additional certifications: Salesforce Certified B2C Commerce Architect from Salesforce in April 2022, Salesforce Certified Commerce Cloud Digital Developer from Salesforce in May 2018, and UX Certification from Nielsen Norman Group in April 2015.
