Bárbara Bittencourt

Partner in Demarest’s Energy and Natural Resources practice, Bárbara Bittencourt holds a master’s degree in Oil and Gas from the University of Aberdeen (Scotland) and a bachelor of laws degree from the Universidade Milton Campos (MG). She concentrates her practice in contractual matters involving different Oil and Gas transactions, and in consulting on regulatory aspects related to the industry, including various matters involving E&P, processing, refining, trading and biofuels. Throughout her career, Bárbara has assisted clients in a number of transactional areas and has been active in the purchase and sale of oil and gas assets, import of parts and pieces, storage and distribution of fuels, in addition to having assisted companies in obtaining licenses or authorizations with local regulatory bodies, as well as in structuring participation in bidding rounds. Bárbara Bittencourt has already been recognized by some of the most prominent local and international legal directories, such as IFLR 1000 and Análise Advocacia Mulher.
