Raquel Andrade

Raquel Andrade is a Senior Lawyer at Demarest Advogados since November 2023 and serves as a Guest Professor in the Graduate Program in Accounting and Tax Planning at Universidade de Brasília. Previously, Raquel held various legal positions, including Legal Advisor at the Confederation of Agriculture and Livestock of Brazil, Associate Lawyer at Heleno Torres Advogados Associados, and Advisor to a Minister at the Federal Supreme Court. Raquel has also taught Tax Law at the Instituto Brasiliense de Direito Público and UERJ. With early experience as a Tax Auditor at the Municipality of São João de Meriti and as a researcher at the FGV Law Program, Raquel's academic background includes a Doctorate in Financial Law from USP, a Master's in Public Finance, Taxation, and Development from UERJ, and additional qualifications in Financial and Tax Law.
