Richard Bornost has over 17 years of professional work experience. Richard began their career in 2003 as a Senior Developer at Advertising Checking Bureau, where they worked on a Custom ERP System on .Net 1.1 utilizing ASP.NET. In 2007, they moved to Flypaper Studio, Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer/Team Lead. Here, they lead a small team working on the Windows Client portion of a commercial Flash content creation tool. In 2008, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer - Contractor at PING, where they created a Windows Service to translate data between an internal application and UPS WorldShip via Xml and text file drops. In 2009, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer - Contractor at CSAA, where they worked on custom application development for Insurance Policy Quoting. That same year, they also worked as a Lead Analyst I/Team Lead and Senior Software Developer - Contractor at US Airways. In 2010, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at the Arizona Department of Revenue, where they were Team Lead responsible for the continued development of the Property Tax Division's County Information System. In 2018, they moved to PrizeLogic as an Enterprise Developer, where they upgraded and corrected their implementation of Identity Server, an OpenID Connect, OAuth 2.0 and JSON Web Tokens (JWT) Identity and Access Control solution. Finally, in 2020, they moved to DeMark Analytics LLC, where they currently work as a Senior Software Engineer.
Richard Bornost began their educational journey in 1985 by attending Illinois Institute of Technology for a year to study Pre-Engineering. Richard then transferred to Oakton College for two years, where they pursued General Education. In 1987, they moved to Yavapai College to study Engineering and Computer Science, and they completed their studies there in 1990. Finally, they attended Northern Arizona University from 1990 to 1992, where they studied Computer Science.
