Lisa Dion is a prominent figure in the field of play therapy, serving as the Founder and President of the Synergetic Play Therapy Institute since 2004. Through the Institute, Lisa developed Synergetic Play Therapy®, a researched-informed model that integrates play therapy with various concepts from neuroscience and attachment theory. In addition to their role at the Institute, Lisa hosts the globally recognized “Lessons From the Playroom” podcast and conducts extensive training and presentations worldwide on topics related to play therapy. As a Registered Play Therapy Supervisor and Certified Gestalt Therapist, Lisa also co-founded the Synergetic Education Institute, which focuses on enhancing educational practices through neuroscience and social-emotional strategies. Lisa's educational background includes a Master of Arts in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology from Naropa University and certification from the Gestalt Institute of the Rockies.
