With a career spanning over a decade, Duncan has held various positions, including 2nd Officer DPO at Anglo-Eastern Offshore, where responsibilities included ROV and air diving operations as well as cable trenching in both Oil & Gas and offshore wind sectors. Previous roles include 2nd Officer DPO on multiple vessels, including those at Briggs Marine and V SHIPS, with significant experience in maintaining navigational buoys and operating DP vessels for complex projects such as deep-water pipe-lay operations in the Gulf of Mexico. Educational qualifications include an HND in Nautical Science from City of Glasgow College.
