Géry van der Rest

Géry van der Rest is a dedicated Project Engineer with extensive experience in both non-profit and engineering sectors. As a co-founder of Luso, they played a pivotal role in establishing a training center for youth in a remote village, successfully raising €15,000 and overseeing the construction of workshops. Currently, Géry works at DEME Group as a Senior Project Engineer, leading significant projects such as the Bagnoli remediation and Ardersier Port capital dredging. Their academic background includes a Master of Engineering in Civil Engineering from KU Leuven and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from Ecole Polytechnique de Louvain.
