Gina de Rooij

Gina de Rooij is an experienced professional in civil engineering with a specialization in immersed tunnels and marine operations. Currently serving as the Transport and Immersion Manager at Femern Link Contractors since January 2022, Gina is also a Project/Design Manager at DEME GROUP with a focus on immersed tunnels. Previous roles include leadership positions in various projects, such as the Scheldetunnel at Oosterweelverbinding Antwerp and the Marieholm immersed tunnel in Gothenburg, Sweden. Gina's extensive background includes engineering management, tender management, and project engineering for multiple offshore and heavy lift operations with organizations such as Volker Stevin International and Tunnel Engineering Consultants. With a Master's degree in Civil Engineering from Delft University of Technology and a proven track record in immersion engineering, Gina has solidified expertise in the technical aspects of tunnel design and marine operations.
