Manu de Block

Manu De Block is a seasoned R&D Engineer specializing in Data Engineering, currently contributing to the Technical Department Automation & Instrumentation at DEME Group since October 2015, focusing on datalogging systems and supporting analytics projects. Previously, Manu was involved in research and production estimating within the Research, Methods, Production & Engineering department at the same company. Before joining DEME, Manu served as President and Education Coordinator of VTK at KU Leuven, influencing educational policies and student representation, along with experience as a System Administrator at ULYSSIS and a student job at AXA Bank Europe. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Management and a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering from KU Leuven, complemented by a Bachelor’s in Engineering and a strong foundation in Sciences and Mathematics from Sint-Lievenscollege Antwerpen.
