Maurits Bouwmeester

Maurits Bouwmeester is an experienced project engineer and manager with a focus on offshore and dredging projects. Currently serving as a Project Engineer at DEME Group since August 2017, Maurits has also held various roles, including Project Manager for the cutter suction dredger SPARTACUS's warranty period and first year of operation, and Assistant Project Manager for the SEA INSTALLER's conversion and lifetime upgrade. Additionally, Maurits is the owner of Orange Marine Engineering and previously worked as Project Manager at APT Offshore B.V. and held multiple positions at VOSTA LMG from January 2007 to August 2016. Notably, Maurits supervised the construction of several self-propelled cutter suction dredgers and was instrumental in designing all Vosta LMG cutterheads. Educational background includes a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences and HAVO from Comenius College.
