Sammy Deceulaer

Sammy Deceulaer is an experienced Electrical and Automation Engineer currently working at DEME Group since January 2021, where responsibilities include overseeing electrical systems and automation. Previously, Sammy held the position of Electrical Superintendent at the same organization. Prior to this, Sammy worked in the hospitality industry, serving as Head Waiter at DANSING CHOCOLA from June 2014 to August 2020 and as a Dining Room Server at FISKEBAR from March 2011 to May 2014, fostering strong interpersonal skills and a sense of responsibility. Sammy’s early career included a role as an Assistant Mechanic at Antwerp Diesel Pumps from July 2006 to August 2008, which provided valuable hands-on experience. Sammy holds a Master of Science in Electromechanical Engineering with a focus on Automation from the University of Antwerp (2018-2020) and a Bachelor of Science in Electromechanical Engineering from AP Hogeschool Antwerpen (2010-2013).
