Stijn Cavents

Stijn Cavents is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the construction and engineering sectors, currently serving as Lead Engineer at DEME Group since October 2016, where previous roles included Works Manager and Project Engineer. Stijn began a career in the culinary field as an Assistant Cook at Bistro Boogaers and later at De Farmasie while pursuing educational qualifications, which include a Master of Science in Construction Engineering from KU Leuven and a Bachelor of Science in Construction from Thomas More University of Applied Sciences. An internship at Iemants provided valuable project management experience, enhancing skills in welding progression oversight, on-site measurements, and budget management.
