Maggie Parry-Hughes

Maggie Parry-Hughes is an experienced healthcare professional with a robust background in mental health and dementia care. Currently serving as the Admiral Nurse Professional and Practice Facilitator at Dementia UK since March 2017, Maggie has previously held significant roles including Mental Health Educator/Trainer and Network Lead for Day Services at Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Foundation Trust. Early career roles include Day Hospital Manager, Mental Health Sister/Manager, and Staff Nurse in various settings. Maggie holds a Master’s degree in Dementia Care from The University of Sheffield and completed nursing education at Craigavon School of Nursing in Northern Ireland and Our Lady's Grammar School in Co Down.
