Stéphane Villecroze is cofounder and Managing Partner of Demeter.
He is a non-executive member of the boards of directors of several of Demeter’s portfolio companies.
Between 2001 and 2005, Stéphane was head of business units for Veolia Environment and participated in the group’s “high potentials leadership Program” in 2004-2005.
From 1994 to 2001, he held the positions of head of territorial services for the Ministry of Ecology, Energy, and Sustainable Development, responsible for construction and management of roads, ports and airports. He was also director of local water authority.
In 1994, Stéphane collaborated with Olivier Dupont, Lionel Cormier and Sophie Paturle on the BTP Capital team, mainly in eco-industries sector.
Stéphane holds Master’s degrees from Ecole Polytechnique and Ecole des Ponts et Chaussées. He is co-author of “The SMEs and the Environment Market” (Presses ENPC, 1995), “Growth capital: The exit solutions guide” (AFIC, 2007), “The practical guide to growth capital” (AFIC, 2008), and “Growth capital, Partnering guide” (AFIC, 2012).
