Diego Palacios

Diego Palacios is the COO at Demica. Diego was previously with ING from September 2010 to October 2016, where they were a member of the M&A team, focused on origination and excecution of M&A initiatives, including strategy, financial modeling, valuation, market analysis and M&A project logistics.

Before that, they worked with Bancolombia from May 2008 to June 2008 in their Economic Investigations Department, providing Bank's key clients with daily economic information and news of major traded companies in the Colombian Stock Exchange.

Diego also worked with The Vidal Partnership from July 2007 to February 2008 as a Media Communications Buyer, responsible for the execution of media initiatives for key clients, including post analysis of purchased media spots.

Diego Palacios has completed the Oxford Fintech Programme at the Saïd Business School of the University of Oxford. Diego has also obtained an MscBA in Finance and Investments from the Rotterdam School of Management at Erasmus University, and a Bachelor in Business Administration with a focus on International Business and International Marketing from Pace University - Lubin School of Business. Additionally, they hold a DG (Diamonds) certification from the GIA (Gemological Institute of America), and a High School Diploma from the American Embassy School of New Delhi.

They are on a team with Francois Terrade - Global Head of Structuring, Ajinkya Bhave - Director, Head of Core Platform, and Dipali Sahni - General Counsel & Head of Compliance. Diego Palacios reports to Matt Wreford, CEO.
