Adrian Tawfik

Adrian Tawfik is the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Democracy Chronicles, an organization they started in 2011. Adrian has built the platform with the help of a global network of over 100 volunteer writers. Adrian is also known for their political memes on Flickr. From 2012 to 2016, they founded and operated Copernicus Media. In 2014, they served as the Executive Producer for the Seven Dictators Playwriting Competition. Adrian worked as a Research Assistant at Columbia Business School's Columbia Institute for Tele-Information from 2007 to 2008. Since 2016, they have worked as a Research Associate at Iridium Investments, specializing in industries such as defense, electronic voting, information services, and manufacturing.

Adrian Tawfik earned a Bachelor's degree in Democracy and Cultural Pluralism from The New School, where they studied from 2003 to 2005.
