Santiago Siri

Santiago Siri is an experienced entrepreneur with a long history of founding, advising, and leading various organizations. In 2021, they founded UBI DAO, where they authored the smart contract that enables Universal Basic Income on Ethereum as an ERC20 token. Santiago also began podcasting for Pod Land and joined the mission board for Proof of Humanity. In 2020, they co-founded DAO Education. In 2014, they founded Democracy Earth Foundation, where they deployed Universal Basic Income (UBI) on Ethereum and contributed to the Proof of Humanity project. Santiago was also a partner and advisor to the board for Bitex, a leading institutional bitcoin exchange and trading platform in Latinamerica. From 2012-2014, they were a Global Shaper for the World Economic Forum and a founder and peer for Partido de la Red. In 2011, they were a technology columnist for Radio Metro FM 95.1. From 2007-2012, they founded, was CEO, and was research lead for Popego Corporation & Grupo 42, a pioneering software R&D lab specialised in machine learning, natural language processing, and big data.

Santiago Siri attended St Brendan's College from 1990 to 2001, where they obtained a Bachelor in High School/Secondary Diplomas and Certificates.
