Lea Trusty

Lea Trusty is a seasoned professional focused on program management and communication, currently serving as a Senior Program Associate at Democracy Fund since August 2017, after progressing through roles as Program Associate and Program Assistant. Prior experience includes a position as Newman's Own Fellow at WSHU Public Radio, where reporting and social media expansion were key responsibilities. Additionally, Lea gained valuable experience during an internship at Centro de los Derechos del Migrante, contributing to labor rights advocacy through writing, translation, and media coordination. Lea holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics from Princeton University, completed in 2016.
