Jay Garneau has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Jay is currently working as the Senior Marketing and Communications Manager at Democracy Works and as the Senior Operator (Official Scorer) at Major League Baseball. Prior to these roles, they worked as the Marketing & Communications Manager at Rowan EDC and as the Communications Manager at Bethesda Center. Moreover, they have also served as the Associate Director of Athletic Communications at Wake Forest University and as the Graduate Assistant for Athletics Media Services at Western Illinois University. Earlier in their career, they worked at Ohio Northern University, where they held multiple roles, including Co-Sports Editor at The Northern Review and Sports Information Department. Additionally, they worked as a Sports Broadcaster at Ohio Northern University - WONB Radio and as a Public Relations Intern at Ultimate Fighting Championship.
Jay Garneau attended Willowbrook High School from 2004 to 2008, where they earned their high school diploma. From 2008 to 2012, they pursued their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree at Ohio Northern University, majoring in Sport Management and minoring in Journalism and Spanish. Following their undergraduate degree, Jay continued their education at Western Illinois University from 2012 to 2014, where they obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Sport Management.
