Marcus Hall

Marcus Hall has a diverse work experience in various roles within the tech industry. Starting with their most recent role at Demonware as a Tech Lead, Associate Principal Engineer, and Cloud Engineering, they played a significant role in adopting Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and facilitating the transition from AWS to a Hybrid-Cloud approach. Prior to that, at Klarna, they served as a Senior Engineer, contributing to the establishment of foundational elements for the company's cloud environment and practices. Marcus also worked as a Linux System Administrator in the Core Services team, maintaining and building a comprehensive stack with strict uptime and compliance requirements. In their earlier career, they were a Full-Stack Developer at Sportnik AB, where they led a multi-year project to build a CRM solution for athletics clubs. At SizeIT, they worked as a Linux System Administrator, responsible for developing and operating ISP services. Overall, Marcus has demonstrated expertise in areas such as cloud engineering, systems engineering, automation, and full-stack development.

Marcus Hall attended Nackademin from 2005 to 2007, where they pursued a degree in Linux System Administration with a specialization in Linux and Cisco Networking. In addition to their formal education, Marcus obtained the Professional Cloud Architect certification from Google Cloud in December 2021, and earlier in October 2021, they earned the Associate Cloud Engineer certification from the same institution.
