Katri Sarkia

Katri Sarkia is the Managing Director at Demos Helsinki since October 2016, responsible for overseeing operations related to people, projects, and sales, and leading efforts toward societal transformations. Previously, Katri served as Change & People Lead at Demos Helsinki, focusing on the profitable management of impact-driven projects. Additional experience includes roles such as Senior Expert in Governance Innovation and Secretary of the Board for Mothers in Business MiB ry, as well as Board Member for the Centre for International Mobility CIMO. Katri's earlier career includes positions at UN Women, as an HR Analyst, and the British Council EU office as a Project Manager. Katri holds a Master’s degree in World Politics from the University of Helsinki and has academic credentials from Sciences Po.
